Email from Stephen - Mar 2010 - Here is what our family believes to be true, but not
positive which is why we are looking.

Elisha's daughter Rebecca, through his second marriage with Sarah Ann
Culbertson is my ggg grandmother. My understanding is that Levi was born
from a previous wife of Elisha.  As you said, you can find Elisha in the
1860 Boone County, Indiana census.  In the 1870 Census they had moved to
Jasper County, Missouri. Elisha had purchased property in 1869, then later
sold it in 1874.  Then, we find he moved back up to Nodaway County where he
passed.

Our family line has been told that Rebecca married an Alfred Boulden, Bolen,
Bolden, Boling.  My research found a Bolden family in the 1860 census from
Clinton County, Indiana which is adjacent to Boone County, Indiana.  But we
can find no record of this marriage anywhere.  All we can find is that
Alfred "Boling" bought land in Jasper County, Missouri in 1871. Later,
Rebecca Boling signed off on the 1874 sale of property Elisha Walter owned.
We have no record of Alfred passing, but we know he passed sometime in the
1870s.

Sometime in the 1870s Sarah Ann Culbertson, Rebecca Bolen(and her 3
children) moved to Nemaha County, Kansas to live with Elisha and Sarah's
oldest daughter Elizabeth "Ellen" Walter Barnes.  If you look at the 1880
census in Nemaha County, Missouri, you Find Sarah Walter and Rebecca (with 3
children) in the census and both Sarah and Rebecca say they are widowed.
They are living next door to the Barnes Family.
