Jensen, Helen Marie Goodson

Graveside services for Helen Marie Jensen, 88, were held April 13, 2000 at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood, Mo. She died April 11, 2000 at her home in Maryville, Mo.

She was born September 15, 1911 to George and Jesse Goodson near Ravenwood, Mo. She graduated from Ravenwood High Schol.

She married Hans Jensen. Helen retired from the Lesco Fabric and Drapery Store in Denver, Colo.

She was a member of the Ravenwood Methodist Church, member of the Order of Eastern Star, Denver, Colo and had received her 50 year pin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Jensen; parents and one brother, Russell Goodson on December 14, 1996.

She is survived by one sister, Susie Warriner, Kansas City, Mo; three brothers, George Goodson, El Paso, Texas, Charles Goodson, Ravenwood, Mo, and Laton Goodson, Bedford, Iowa; nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Jaquay, Elsie Serena Cook -

Elsie Serena Jaquay, 81, Maryville, died Sunday March 8, 19987at a health care center in Maryville.
Born Dec. 16,1916, in Maryville, to Floyd and Ethel Wampler Cook, she was an owner and beautician of Elsie's Beauty Shop, Maryville.
She married Lloyd H Jaquay, April 22,1951, in Maryville.
A lifelong resident of Maryville, Mrs. Jaquay was a graduate of Ideal School of Beauty Culture in Maryville. She was a member of the Maryville First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bob Cook; two sisters, Mary Cooper and Doris Rutledge; and a granddaughter, Christie Dew.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Dew of Maryville; a son, David Jaquay of Oskaloosa, Iowa; two sisters, Donna Megown of Springfield, Mo., and Rosie Jones of Columbia, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, with Dr. Donald Childers officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
