Kaut, Brandon C. - A celebration of life memorial service for Brandon C. Kaut, 22, Maryville, who died January 27, 2007, will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, February 10, at the Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, with Pastor Paul McKim officiating.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Brandon C. Kaut Art Scholarship Fund, in care of any US Bank location or in care of Danfelt Funeral Home.

Keever, L. Donald, surrounded by his family, went to his eternal home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2008.
Donald was born October 12th, 1915 on a farm east of Skidmore, to Carl and Bertha Dawson Keever, the oldest of four sons. He attended Eureka School, a one-room schoolhouse, and Skidmore High School.
He married Neva Colwell on February 14, 1937 at the Methodist parsonage in Maryville. He and Neva were married 68 years before her passing.
He was a farmer. He and his wife lived all their life in the Nodaway and Holt counties working side-by-side, always together. He also worked at Center Milk Plant and Northwest Missouri State College before retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Skidmore Methodist Church. Many Sunday afternoons after church were spent visiting family or local nursing homes to see friends and family there. His life of giving was an example and blessing to others.
He was a quiet man, gentle and loving to everyone. He was always there to help if anyone was in need. He loved his family and friends, welcoming them with a smile when they came to visit.
Donald is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Richard Wilson, St. Joseph, his grandchildren and their spouses, Lora and Randy Sondrol, St. Paul, MN and Troy and Jodi Wilson, Lee’s Summit; seven great-grandchildren, Chai, Corbin, Caleb, Noah and Isabella Wilson, Lee’s Summit and Katie and Matthew Sondrol, St. Paul, MN; his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Keever, Maryville and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, Dean Keever and Bob Keever.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2:00 PM at the Skidmore United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at the Maitland, Missouri Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the funeral home.

Keever, Ruth Irene Walden, 88, Maryville, formerly of Skidmore, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital and Health Services, Maryville.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Friday, February 8, at the Skidmore Christian Church. Burial is in Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore. Visitation is 6:30-8 pm, Thursday, February 7, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.

Kelley, Burman, age 82, of Clearmont, Missouri, died Monday morning, January 31, 2005, at his home in Clearmont, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 4, 2005, at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home, Clarinda, Iowa with Alvin Reed officiating. Visitation with the family will be 7-8 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clearmont Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri with military rites. Memorials may be directed to the Burman Kelley Memorial Fund Box 73 Clearmont, Missouri. Walker-Merrick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burman Leo Kelley was born May 4, 1922, near Wilcox, Nodaway County, Missouri, to Ora Cecil Kelley and Elizabeth Fredricka (Smith) Kelley and he died Monday morning, January 31, 2005, at his home in Clearmont, Missouri. He graduated from Clearmont High School. Burman entered the service following high school and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was with the invasions of Leyte in the Phillipines and Okinawa. Burman was wounded twice and received the Purple Heart. He was united in marriage March 29, 1947, to Betty Jean Hayner at the Christian Parsonage, Clarinda, Iowa. They settled in rural Clearmont and farmed until 1971 when they moved into Clearmont. Burman worked at NSK Corporation until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Christian Church, Clearmont, Missouri. His greatest enjoyment was his family and grandchildren.
Preceding Burman in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife Betty of the home; son, William Kelley and his wife Rosalea Kelley of Hopkins, Missouri; daughter, Cheryl Estabrook and husband Marvin of Sterling, Kansas; four grandchildren: Tim Kelley and his wife Meredith of Atlanta, Georgia, Cindy Kelley and fiancé Rollie Martin of Maryville, Missouri, Andrea Estabrook of Inman, Kansas and Sgt. Steven Estabrook of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; brothers, Virgil Kelley and his wife Ruthe of Clearmont, Missouri and Kenneth Kelley and his wife Nadine of Nevada; many nieces and nephews.

 

Kelly, Edward Eugene “Gene” , 75, Maryville, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in Maryville. Funeral services were Friday, August 3, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville. Price Funeral Home, Maryville, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Kelso, Glade E Jr., 73, Guilford, died August 23, 2006, at his home in Guilford. Visitation is from 7-8 pm, Friday, August 25, at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Kern, George Vincent - Ravenwood - George Vincent Kern, 85, of Ravenwood, passed from this life on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at his home.

Born on February 25, 1922 in Conception, MO he was the son of the late Frowin C. & Rose (Schwebach) Kern.

He was a Veteran serving in WW II in the US Navy.

He was a member of the St. Columbia Catholic Church and a member of the Tri-C American Legion Post 464 Conception.

He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Althea M. (Derks) Kern, whom he married on May 21, 1955, loving children, Phillip Kern and wife Janice, Charles Kern and wife Rena and Chris Kern all of Ravenwood, also survived by two grandchildren & three step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leo & Albert Kern, two sisters, Mary Galbraith and Agnes Lochart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the St. Columba Catholic Church, Conception Junction, MO. Final Resting Place will be in the St. Columba Cemetery with military honors .

The family will receive friends at the St. Columba Catholic Church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 P.M., with a Parish Prayer Service at 7 P.M. Kiker, Kimberly Dawn - Conception - Kimberly Dawn Kiker, 42, of Conception, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at her home.

Born on August 24, 1965 in Houston, Texas she was the daughter of Mack Barnes, Crosby, TX and Kathleen O'Connell Dale, Mulvane, KS and adoptive father, Wayne Dale.

She was a mother and a homemaker and was of the Protestant Faith.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Eddie Kiker whom she married on August 20, 2004, in Maryville, loving children, Joey Beggs & Kylie Beggs both of Conception, MO, and a brother, Kevin Dale, San Francisco, CA, maternal grandfather, Joe O'Connell, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eva O'Connell and F. Douglas & S. Marian Dale. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kimberly has been cremated under the trusted care of the Danfelt Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO with the Rev. Paul McKim, Officiating. Interment will be private. Killam, Rosemary Peve - Rosemary Peve Killam, 84, Yuma, AZ, formerly of Hopkins, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Yuma.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 29, at Swanson-Price Chapel, Hopkins. Burial was in Hopkins Cemetery.

King, Irene E. Brockhoff - Irene E. King, 84, Maryville, formerly a Brown County native, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.
She was born March 5, 1925, near Hamlin, KS, the daughter of Franklyn and Dorothea Kruse Brockhoff and had lived in the northeast Kansas area until 1992.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, June 24, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha, with Pastor William Volker, Savannah, officiating. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.

King, Marvin Randall "Randy" - Maryville - Marvin Randall "Randy" King, 50, of Maryville, passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Beverly Living Center.

Born on September 13, 1957 in Maryville, Missouri. The oldest child of Marvin and Carol (Thompson) King. He grew up in Hopkins and graduated from North Nodaway in 1976. He immediately joined the Air Force National Guard and later served in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic while in Okinawa.

He attended Northwest Missouri State University and the University of New Hampshire. While living in New Hampshire Randy was a Fireman & Paramedic.

After moving to Missouri, Randy was employed at the Tarkio Academy as an Employee Training Coordinator until 1996 when he became ill.

Randy was a member of Countryside Christian Church, Maryville. He loved all music from Blue Grass to Bach and enjoyed playing with the Law & Order Band while living in Tarkio. As much as Randy loved family and his music, he loved the Lord more and was an inspiration to all those he touched.

Preceding him in death, father, Marvin I. King, paternal grandparents, Ira and Maxine (Mitchell) King and maternal grandparents, Allen and Hazel (Stephens) Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Katie, Allen, Hannah, and stepson, Seth Patterson of Manchester, NH, his mother, Carol King, Maryville, brothers, Jeffrey King, Guerneville, CA, Stephen Coleman and wife Angie, Maryville, sisters, Terri Gallegos and husband, David, Altus, Oklahoma, Tina Fletchall and husband Chris, Sheridan, MO. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Countryside Christian Church, 24899 Icon Rd., Maryville, Missouri 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Bedford, Iowa. The family will have their fellowship meal at the church at 12 noon, prior to the services. Mrs. Sam King Dies
"Mrs. Sam King, 77, died Wednesday, August 18, at her home in Hopkins, after
a two-weeks illness following a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. King was born on the family farm southwest of Bedford, the daughter of
Mr. And Mrs. Aaron Cox.  She lived there until her marriage, after which
Hopkins and vicinity , has been her home.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, August 20, at the local Methodist
Church by Rev. J. Vernon Wheeler.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Roy King of Blockton and Clarence
King of Jackson Center, Ohio, one sister, Miss Sadie Cox of California, and
four grandchildren.

Burial was in the Hopkins Cemetery."

Koger, Eldon, 87, Hopkins, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at St Francis Hospital and Health Services, Maryville.

Funeral services were May 19, at the First Christian Church, Hopkins. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont.

Koger, Wilma May "Jeanie" Marriott, age 84, died Saturday, September 17, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri.

She was born June 3, 1921 near Burlington Junction, Missouri; the daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Carmichael Henry. She was a life long resident of Toadholler. On August 17, 1938 she married Vernal Marriott. He preceeded her in death on April 21, 1981. January 5, 1989 she married Basil Koger at the Clearmont Christian Church. He also preceded her in death April 10, 2005.

Others preceding her in death were 2 sisters; Marjorie Sloan, Burlington Junction, MO and Dorthy Garner, Bellevue, Nebraska and one great grandson Korey Marriott.
Wilma was a member of the Clearmont Christian Church, where she was baptized in 1981.

Her survivors include: 4 sons, Gary and wife Connie Marriott, Clarinda, IA, Garland and wife Minnie Marriott, Lynn and wife Mary Marriott, arid Lyle and wife Pamela Marriott, all of Clearmont, MO; 3 sisters, Doris Watkins, Omaha, NE, Evelyn McCord, Maryville, MO, and Georgia Vanpelt, Burlington Junction, MO; 2 brothers, Billy Henry, Clearmont, MO and Don Henry, Maryville, MO; 2 step-daughters, Virginia and husband Wesley Lent, Maitland, MO and Sue and husband Bruce Thompson, Burlington Junction, MO; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, 10 step-grandchildren, 25 step-great grandchildren, and 1 step great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM. Wednesday, September 21, 2005, Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Family visitation will be from 7-8 P.M. tuesday. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont Missouri. Memorial: Little Red School House, Clearmont, Missouri.
