daughter’s home in Maryville. The funeral service
was held Wednesday, June 28, at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville.
Burial was in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens. Maryville Memorials may be

Friday, July 20, 2007. Maryville - Joshua David Vinzant, 34, Maryville, formerly of Carbondale, IL, died Friday July 20, 2007. He was born June 12, 1973 in Maryville, MO He was a 1991 graduate of Maryville High School. Attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO where he obtained a bachelor's degree. Majoring in English and Geography, minoring in Writing. He then furthered his education by teaching and attending at McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. Majoring in Creative Writing-Poetry, Minoring in Fiction Forms and Contemporary Literature. On April 7, 2006 he married Jennifer Talbot in Maryville, MO. He was a self-employed carpenter and owner of Blue Sky Custom Carpentry. Survivors include his wife, Jen and children, Avery Talbot and Silas Vinzant; parents, Jennifer Burns-Tunell and husband Kirby, Pickering, Dave Vinzant and wife Debbie, Maryville, sisters, Nikki Redden and husband Brad, Pickering, Ashleigh Long and husband Matt, Maryville, step-sisters, Melissa Tunell-Burns and husband Jayte, Omaha, Heather Tooley, Maryville, step-brother, Tim Tooley, Maryville; grandmother, Winnie Burns, Maryville. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Junior and Dorothy Vinzant and Rob Burns. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 6 to 7 P.M. at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at James Edward Gray American Legion Post 100, Maryville following visitation.
