Oberhauser, Pauline Louise White - Pauline Louise Oberhauser, 85, Hopkins, Missouri passed away, Monday, October 26, 2009 at Golden Living Center, Maryville, Missouri.
She was born September 20, 1924 to Leroy and Velma (Foreman) White. A 1942 graduate of Hopkins High School, Pauline married Billy Lee Oberhauser September 17, 1949 in Hopkins.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband, Bill run the family restaurant “Obie’s” for nine years. She was also member of the Hopkins Christian Church, Hopkins, Missouri.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband: Bill, a daughter, Janet Edwards, her parents; two sisters: Dorothy Weiser and Marjorie Price and brother: Wayne White.
Survivors include a son: Larry and his wife, Terri Oberhauser, Fayetville, North Carolina; daughters: Joyce McElfresh and her husband, Mike, Hopkins, Missouri and Dianne McGinness
and her husband, Gary, Central, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister: Vivian Walsh, Escondido, California.
There is no formal visitation.
Graveside Services and burial will be 2 pm Friday, October 30, 2009, at the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, Missouri.
Mrs. Oberhauser’s family will meet friends and family at the Hopkins Community Center after the graveside service.

James Patrick O'Donnell, 89, Barnard, Missouri died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri.
He was born June 27, 1920 in Conception, Missouri, the son of Patrick Joseph and Elizabeth Ann (Wobbe) O’Donnell. Jim married Patricia Kathleen Wilmes, July 8, 1946 in Maryville.
A farmer, he was a Charter Member of the Maryville Eagle’s Lodge Aerie #3669 and served as a delegate with MFA Oil Company.
Surviving are his children: Gene (Julia) O'Donnell, Independence, Missouri, Delores "Dee" Wohlford, Kansas City, Missouri, Cathy (Jim) New, Connie Hilsabeck and Marlin O'Donnell, all of Barnard and David (Joanne) O'Donnell, Maryville; a sister: Donna Ruth O’Donnell, Barnard; 9 grand children; 5 great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat on February 22, 2010; his parents; brothers: Burton “Burt” and Raymond O’Donnell and sisters: Patricia Galbreath, Dorthea Auer and Genevieve “Jean” Madden.
Jim’s family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Price Funeral Home in Maryville,

Patricia Kathleen O'Donnell, 83, of Barnard, Missouri died on Monday, February 22, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri.
Born March 17, 1926 in Clyde, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late John and Lena Henkel Wilmes. She married James O'Donnell July 8, 1946 in Maryville.
A homemaker, Pat was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Laurette Gama Rho Chapter and the Maryville Bowling League.
Surviving are husband James of their home; sons, Gene O'Donnell, Independence, Missouri, Marlin O'Donnell, Barnard, Missouri, David (Joanne)O'Donnell, Maryville, daughters, Delores "Dee" Wohlford, Kansas City, Missouri, Cathy (Jim) New and Connie Hilsabeck, both of Barnard, brother, Ambrose "Speck" Wilmes of Ida Grove, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, John, Marion, Ernest, Ally Wilmes and a sister, Viola Yates.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 26 at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville.

Alice May Oliver 98, Maryville, Missouri (formerly of Guilford, Missouri) died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Village Care Center, Maryville.
She was born October 20, 1911 in rural Guilford, Missouri, the daughter of Carl Ralph and Orpha May (McGeorge) Weathermon. Alice married Wesley Harold Oliver June 30, 1940 in King City, Missouri.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Guilford Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Wesley Oliver (April 8, 1997); a son: Harold Eugene Oliver; her parents; two brothers: Melvin and Paul Weathermon and a sister: Georgia Manly.
Alice is survived by sisters-in-law: Lela Weathermon, Maryville; Crystal Wilson, King City and Maxine Oliver, Overland Park, Kansas; nieces: Rosalie Weathermon and her husband: Ben Graham, Maryville; Marilyn and Wayne Jackson, Corydon, Iowa; Janet and Dean Klingensmith, Olathe, Kansas; Debra and Jim Humphrey, Kansas City, Kansas; Jeanetter and Bob Parks, Las Vegas, Nevada; Wilma Littleford, Las Vegas; Susan Evans, Crete, Nebraska and nephew: Ivan Dean and Patsy Wilson, King City, Missouri; great-nephews and great-nieces.

Oliver, Georgia Ellen Hannah -
Georgia Ellen Oliver, 83, Guilford, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Saint Joseph, Missouri after valiantly battling cancer.
Mrs. Oliver was born April 11, 1926, at the family farm near Guilford, Missouri, the daughter of George and Dollie Wilson Hannah. She graduated from Guilford High School in 1944 and was Salutatorian of the class. She also was a delegate to the National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago that same year.
She married Dale Oliver on February 22, 1948, in Guilford. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver made their home on their farm east of Guilford, in the house they built in 1964.
Mrs. Oliver was a secretary to the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Northwest Missouri State University, retiring in 1988.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord and a lifelong member of the Guilford United Methodist Church. Her beautiful soprano voice was well known and a comfort to many, as countless families asked her to sing at their loved one's funerals.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her husband Dale Oliver of the home, Guilford; two sons: Jim (Diane)Oliver, Lenexa, Kansas and Paul Oliver, Stanberry, Missouri; daughter, Jane (Terry) Newcomer, Darlington, Missouri; six grandchildren: Kevin Oliver, Omaha, Nebraska; Kimberly Oliver Holt, Overland Park, Kansas; Kerri Oliver Opheim, Mililani, Hawaii; Greg Newcomer, Des Moines, Iowa; Steven Newcomer, Stanberry, Missouri; Holly Newcomer, Saint Joseph, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, brother, Frederick Hannah, Saint Joseph; sister, Beatrice McDaniel, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Visitation is 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, at the Guilford United Methodist Church, with burial in Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford.

O'Riley, Donald Edgar - Donald Edgar O'Riley, 77, of Maryville, passed from this life on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the St. Francis Hospital.
Born on March 23, 1931 in Skidmore, MO he was the son of Edgar Phillip & Rinda Bula (Linville) O'Riley.
He was a graduate of the Skidmore High School and served as a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army in 1955.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Simpsom whom he married in 1957. He was formerly employed with Guard Mark & in his later years Marryville Junior High.
He was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, M. Louise (Giggar) Oriley, daughter, Dora Jean O'Riley, St. Joseph, step children, Charlie Staniford, Ravenwood, Ruby Twyman of Nebraska, Cathi Peter, Maryville, Clyde Staniford, Maryville, and David Staniford, St. Joseph. He also survived by a brother Paul O'Riley, Archie, MO and a sister, Dora Moutray, Skidmore, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. O'Riley has been cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

Evelyn Mary (Frueh) O'Riley, age 92, of Graham, Missouri, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Parkdale Manor Care Center in Maryville, Missouri. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of St Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville. She was also a member of St. Gregory's Guild.
She was born January 9, 1916 in Chariton, Iowa; the daughter of the late Leonard Joseph and Lucy Josephine(Walk) Frueh. October 3, 1939 Evelyn was united in marriage to Robert Emmett O'Riley in Maryville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on May 3, 2007; one son Bob O'Riley (2002); brothers and sisters; Teresa, Josephine, Howard, Lester and Eugene Frueh, Catherine Ransdell and Rose Ann Welch.

A Legion of Mary Rosary will be said at 4 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. A Parish Prayer service will be held from 7-8 PM Friday, February 29 at the Church followed be a family visitation at 8 PM. Mary Lucile (Schwebach) O’Riley, 91 Maryville, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Parkdale Manor, Maryville, Missouri.
She was born April 15, 1918 in Clyde, Missouri, the daughter of Matthew and Mary Barbara (Kern) Schwebach. Lucile married Frederick Joseph O’Riley April 21, 1942 in Maryville.
She was a member of St Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Community and St Gregory’s Guild, , Maryville and the Morgan Sunshine Club, Graham.
Lucile had cooked at the Hitching Post and Gray’s Truck Stop for many years.
Mrs. O’Riley was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick on May 5, 1960; her parents, sisters and brothers: Irene Lager, Mildred Huss, Wm “Bill” Schwebach and Leo Schwebach.
Survivors include a son: Gerald (Vera) O’Riley, Aurora, Illinois; two daughters: Eileen (Jim) Carroll and Linda (Gene) Carroll, Maryville, eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; a brother: Alphonse Schwebach; three sisters: Gertrude Jensen, Teresa Jensen and Beatrice Luke, all of Stanberry; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Legion of Mary Rosary is 4pm Friday, December 18, 2009 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Visitation will be 6 to 7 pm Friday, December 18th at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, followed by a Parish Prayer Service at 7 pm.

Sister Jean Cecile Ostertag, OSB, 81, Clyde, Missouri, died Monday, August 24, 2009, at Our Lady of Rickenbach Health Care, Clyde.
Elizabeth Ostertag was born December 11, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Charles Sr. and Nellie (Gray) Ostertag.
Sr. Jean Cecile joined the Benedictine Convent in April of 1949 and made her final profession in 1956. She had served her congregation in Mundelein, Illinois, Tucson, Arizona, Kansas City, Missouri and Clyde, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Ann Mulford.
Survivors include her Monastic Family, her brothers: Charles Ostertag JR and John Ostertag; sisters: Mary Lou French and Nellie Leitner; and many nieces and nephews.
A Wake Service will be 7:15 pm Monday, August 24, 2009, in the Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel, Clyde, Missouri.

Osthoff, Richard Lee - Richard Lee Osthoff, 51, of Burlington Junction, MO passed from this life on July 11, 2008.
Born on April 27, 1957 in Clarinda, Iowa he was the son of Byron E. Osthoff and the late Dorothy (Evans) Paul.
He worked in maintenance at Energizer for over 25 years and spent time running a small engine repair shop and fishing.
In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Chandra Nicole Osthoff and a son, Nicholas Scott Osthoff both of Burlington Junction, MO, a stepdaughter, Jennifer Rene Hoyt, Clarinda, Iowa, sisters, Debbie Dammann, Julie Ann Osthoff, both of Clarinda, Iowa, a brother, Edward Duane Osthoff, West Plains, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction.

Shirley A. Owens, 76, Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Barnard, Missouri died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Milder Manor in Lincoln.
She was born May 1, 1932 in Kansas, the daughter of Kay W. and Arelia E. (Raley) Shipps. Shirley married Bobbie D. Owens in June of 1950. Bobbie died April 7, 1973 and her parents also preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and an Avon Representative for over forty years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Sandra and Don Baumli, Barnard, Missouri; a granddaughter and her husband: Lisa and Sean Griffin, Liberty, Missouri.
Burial will be Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11am in the Masonic Cemetery, Barnard, Missouri. |
