Palmer, Mavis Lester - MARYVILLE, Mo. — Mavis (Lester) Palmer, 81, of
Maryville, Mo., died March 31, 2006 at her home. She was born June
17, 1924 in Sheridan, Mo.; the daughter of the late Levi Marshall
and Flora Eva Stutesman Lester. Mavis was united in marriage to Orlie
LaVelle Palmer, Aug. 13, 1939 in Rock Port, Mo. She was a night auditor
for the former Wilson Motel and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church,
both of Maryville. Her survivors include: three sons, John Leslie
Palmer, Maryville, Alan Wayne Palmer, Morton Wirral, United Kingdom,
and James Mervin Colvin, Maryville; two brothers, Howard Brown, Sheridan,
Mo., and Orren Lester, St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; and eight
great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William Marshall
Palmer; three grandchildren; one sister, Ina Nally; and one brother,
Orville Brown. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at
Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Interment will be at New Hope
Cemetery in Hopkins, Mo. Friends may call anytime after 1 p.m. Sunday,

Woodburn, Henrietta Dale (Ludlam), 79, Maryville, formerly of Parnell, died February 14,
2006, at her home. Funeral services were held Friday, February 17,
2006, at the Ravenwood United Methodist Church. The burial service
was at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood. There is no formal visitation.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Woodburn's name to SSM Hospice of Northwest
Missouri. Price Funeral Home, Maryville, was in charge of the arrangements.
